Hacktoberfest 2022 • Twitter Space Opensource
Twitter Space conducted along with Subham on how to get started with Opensource & Importance of communities. Talked about the community culture and how to learn in public and connect with like-minded people. Discussed about numerous possibilities in this field to explore and excel. The event was attended by over 1.1k participants and it received a great response.
Hacktoberfest 2022 • IoTHINC VITC
An offline event conducted at Nethaji Auditorium @ VIT Chennai on October 5, 2022. This event was conducted during Hacktoberfest 2022 where students got to learn about basics of IoT and how to get started with their Opensource Journey. I delivered a session on Git and Github along with live demonstrations of setup and commands. Additionally I disucssed about Hacktoberfest and how to contribute. The talk concluded with discussion on several opensource repositories and opportunities available.
MLH Fellowship Summer 2022 • Graduation
MLH Fellowship is a fully remote, 12-week internship where participants earn a stipend and learn to collaborate on real open source projects with peers and engineers from top companies. It is one of the hardest programs to get into with less than 2% Acceptance rate. I was selected as one of applicants who got selected for the Summer 2022 Batch and got an opportunity to talk about my work and fellowship experience on the Official MLH Twitch Channel on the Graduation Day.

Student Seminar Series • SCOPE, VIT Chennai
Delivered a session on Traditional Software Development process, limitations and how to counter them using DevOps Principles. Explained core concepts of Devops such as Continuous Integration, Deployment. Showcased set of tools and practices used for DevOps. Second part of the seminar was focussed on Application of NoSQL Databases in real world scenarios. Covered use of different types of NoSQL Databases and their importance.
Student Awareness Program Series • VPROPEL Team, VIT Chennai
A 7-day long series of sessions conducted on the topic of Git, Github and Opensource in collaboration with the technical Portal team of VIT Chennai - VPROPEL to spread awareness amongst students. Teaching them Git and Github would ensure that students get familiar with these tools which will help them work at any technical company without any hassle. By specifying important of Source Code Management and Version Control System, gave resources and live demonstrations too.
